Money Box relies on volunteers. The Board, loans committee, supervisors and collectors are all Money Box members who give their time to enable other members to have access to low cost loans and safe savings. We are working together to offer a real alternative to high interest lenders, loan sharks and credit card debt. We also have fun! Volunteering with Money Box is a great way to meet new people.
All volunteers are invited to undertake accredited training. Board and Supervisory Committee members undertake training provided by ABCUL, while collectors are encouraged to take part in a course accredited through the Open College Network.
All volunteers must sign a confidentiality agreement.
